Learning Cubed and Optimum Durban visited the William Clark/Othandweni Child and Youth Care Center to use our 67 minutes giving back to the children of South Africa, the most vulnerable among us.
We spent the morning getting a tour of their facilities, before cleaning the windows of the units, stringing up a new washing line and helping them to remake and laminate new posters for their cottages.
We finished the day with a visit to the Edith Benson Children’s home and spent time with the littlest ones there. It was a humbling experience, one that made us grateful for the little things in our own lives, and we hope to return more regularly to help!
