Mother’s Day 2017
Celebrated for over 100 years, Mother’s Day recognizes the immense role that mothers and maternal figures play in our lives.
The idea of setting aside a day to celebrate the most important woman in our lives was started by Anna Jarvis, who wanted to commemorate her mother Ann Jarvis as well as mothers all over the world. Mothers build us up to become the best version of ourselves and selflessly use their time and energy to give us the best opportunities in life.
Appreciate the time you have with mother every day, especially today. There are those of us who have lost the most important woman in our lives and today we remember the good times we shared, the memories we made and the way they shaped us into the people we are today.
Mothers hold their children’s hands for a short time, but hold their hearts forever.
