Today we celebrate the women of the world and our beautiful country; women who have shaped society using their words, actions and experiences and given us something to appreciate and admire.

Thuli Madonsela, former public protector, reminds us that we need to be ourselves and accept diversity: “Sometimes we feel like and regret being oddballs, yet it is our uniqueness that makes each of us fit for our individual purpose in life.”

Michelle Obama, former First Lady, reminds us that we need to work together to grow our country and unlock our potential:”Empower yourselves with a good education, then get out there and use that education to build a country worthy of your boundless promise.”

FInally, Malala Yousafzai, Nobel Peace Prize Laureate, reminds us that education is the strongest tool we have to change the world and empower ourselves: “Extremists have shown what frightens them the most; a girl with a book.”

Learning Cubed wishes you all a splendid Women’s Day!
