‘We cannot always build the future for our youth, but we can build the youth for our future.’ – Franklin Roosevelt

Youth Day commemorates and honours the deaths of many youth who fought for what their beliefs and values during a dark time in our past; a day in 1976 that changed the course of South Africa’s history.

More than that, it reminds us that the future of the country is in the hands of the youth and as the older generations, we are responsible for helping them reach their full potential.

The youth themselves though, also need to be willing to work hard and take every opportunity to improve their lives.

With both generations working together, we can ensure that our country continues to grow, flourish and develop into a nation that we can all be proud of.

We at Learning Cubed wish all of you a great Youth Day and look forward to seeing how the next generation takes the reins and make South Africa even greater.
